COMPLIANCE
CE & UKCA Certifications (PPE Regulation 2016/425)
All Traffi gloves meet the rigorous CE and UKCA certification requirements set out under PPE Regulation 2016/425. These certifications are essential for demonstrating that personal protective equipment (PPE) meets the strict health, safety, and environmental protection standards required for products sold in Europe (CE) and the United Kingdom (UKCA).
Achieving CE (Conformité Européenne) certification confirms that our gloves comply with EU regulations and can be freely marketed within the European Economic Area. Similarly, the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking ensures compliance with equivalent standards set by UK legislation post-Brexit.
The process of achieving these certifications involves rigorous testing, including assessments of material safety, durability, and protective performance, to ensure that the gloves meet or exceed all regulatory requirements. Compliance with CE and UKCA standards guarantees that our products provide reliable protection, aligning with the highest industry benchmarks.
By adhering to these standards, Traffi ensures that customers can trust our gloves to deliver consistent safety, performance, and peace of mind in even the most demanding work environments. This commitment to compliance underscores our dedication to protecting workers while meeting the evolving needs of global markets.

ACCREDITATIONS
PPE, and safety in general, is one of the most important investments you can make. It’s the difference between everyone going home safe and well at the end of the working day, or not. It makes sense that you need to do your proper due diligence and get it absolutely right.
Traffi’s accreditations are not for us, they’re for you. They give you the added peace of mind that our claims are firmly rooted in fact – verified by multiple third parties and scrutinised by industry experts.
These accreditations are all here for you to review and research as much as you’d like; in fact we’d encourage you to do as much reading as you can around the standards we meet and the processes involved with attaining all the appropriate certifications.
We’ve been deliberately selective in terms of what certifications we’ve worked towards – below you will see those which we feel offer the most credibility and reassurance to end users, but if you can’t find something that you’re looking for, please let us know here and it will be considered by our compliance team.
Sustainability Accomplishments
SBTi: Science Based Target initiatives are paramount in making sustainability a genuine target. Data and statistics turn broad commitments into measurable, tangible objectives and change.
Ecovadis: This is an independent organisation which assesses companies’ sustainability based on the factors of Environment, Ethics, Labour & Human Rights, and Sustainable Procurement. Our gold medal signifies that we are in the top 5% of all companies assessed by Ecovadis, across all industries – of course, we’re eyeing the platinum award in the near future.
Memberships
BSIF: The British Safety Industry Federation mark means that Traffi are independently audited and verified to provide genuine, correctly tested, and certified safety products.
SATRA Technology: SATRA are a leading research and testing organisation for safety, performance, and regulatory compliance. Traffi’s membership to SATRA grants us access to an array of resources which aid in the continuous development of our range, ensuring we stay at the forefront of safety and technology.
Sedex: Supplier Ethical Data Exchange membership shows Traffi’s commitment to improving ethical business practices throughout the supply chain. We believe in transparency and accountability at all levels to ensure that our customers and end users know where and who their hand protection comes from.
Accreditations and Certifications
ANSI: With Traffi gloves becoming available in more and more markets globally, it makes sense to strive for accreditations which users and purchasers will understand in other countries. The American Nation Standards Institute provides a different but comparable set of tests to Europe’s EN standards, so ANSI categorisation helps us to translate the TraffiSystem to North American consumers.
Living Wage: We pay all employees a real living wage, as independently confirmed by the Living Wage Foundation. We offer value to customers and believe that this should be reflected in the value we give our people – a fair day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay.
ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001: As a company, Traffi adheres to ISO standards for quality management (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001), and occupational health and safety (ISO 45001). These accreditations reflect our commitment to delivering excellence, sustainability, and a safe working environment.
ISO 14067 Verified Product Carbon Footprint (PCF): We take carbon accountability seriously. Our products have been independently verified under ISO 14067, ensuring our carbon footprint calculations are accurate and transparent.
Cyber Essentials: Cybersecurity is an integral part of modern business. Traffi is certified under the Cyber Essentials scheme, ensuring that we protect sensitive data and maintain robust digital security measures. Oeko-Tex: Safety and sustainability start with the materials we use.
Oeko-Tex certification guarantees that our products are free from harmful substances, ensuring safety for users and respect for the environment.

COMPANY VALUES
We pride ourselves on being trusted, pioneering, and collaborative. But why?
The importance of your hands can't be overstated, so it goes without saying that everyone deserves the best.
You wouldn't accept the guidance or advice of someone you don't trust - and nor would you necessarily believe any claims about their best-in-class hand protection. That's why it's important to prioritise long-term working relationships, building and maintaining trust to keep all parties happy.
A continual reduction in workplace hand injuries - to the eventual long-term goal of none at all - can only happen of products and training continue to improve in line with technology. Research and development is absolutely vital to continuous improvement.
Collaboration is key - we're all working towards the same thing, so it makes sense to work hand in hand (no pun intended).
Countless Traffi products over the years have been, and continue to be, developed in conjunction with our partners who know precisely what any given task entails.
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
