As we approach the end of another incredible year at Traffi, it’s time to reflect on the milestones we’ve achieved together – both as a team and with our clients. From ground-breaking innovations to meaningful collaborations, 2024 has been a year of growth, resilience, and impact. Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our team and the same fantastic engagement from distributors and end users alike, we’ve continued to make workplaces safer and more sustainable across an array of industries.
Events
This year, Traffi made our presence known at exhibitions on multiple continents – some being regular staples of our calendar, others we were attending for the first time. Each event had its own charm, but one common theme was that Team Traffi enjoyed meeting with industry leaders, seeing some familiar faces, and spreading the word on safety and sustainability in hand protection. Additionally, we hosted our own smaller events by way of a series of successful toolbox talks across the UK, empowering clients with practical knowledge about glove selection and workplace safety.
Team News
There have been a lot of very exciting new additions to the team in 2024, strengthening in every area of the business – sales, finance, marketing, product, account management, and sustainability. There were also some very fond farewells, with well-liked members of the Traffi team leaving for new adventures. We thank everyone who has been a part of Traffi’s story this year and wish you all the luck in the world for your next roles – whether that’s having found a new job, or deciding to focus on your family!
New Accreditations
The company as a whole has gained some prestigious accreditations this year, as well as there being new qualifications for several individuals in the team.
• Achieved EcoVadis Gold Medal, jumping from Bronze and nearing Platinum status.
• Successfully obtained GRS and RCS certifications with zero non-compliances.
• Secured reapproval as a trusted member of the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF).
• Seven team members also passed their BSIF exams, earning individual qualifications in supplying safety in the UK Health & Safety market.
Rebrand
One significant change this year – certainly from an internal perspective and which will become more apparent externally in the coming months - was the update and refresh of our general branding. This was a major undertaking for the marketing department, working alongside some very skilled external contributors. More importantly, though, it involved input and buy-in from the whole of the Traffi team. For Hands. For Life may mean something slightly different to everyone, but it definitely means something to everyone. For hands is self-explanatory, but when we say “for life” it means a whole array of things. For life on this planet, with our environmental priorities. For life outside of work, looking after your hands for those even more important things at home. For life meaning a long-term commitment, and building lasting relationships with clients and glove wearers around the world.
With Traffi having turned 16 in August this year, we remain as focused as ever on providing the highest quality products as well as industry leading service to help our clients in building safety cultures from top to bottom in their own organisations. Of course, we would not have made it to 16 years in business without the hard work of our own staff or the buy-in of passionate safety professionals who are intent on improving standards not only in their own companies, but across entire industries.
Looking forward to 2025, we’re excited to build on this year’s successes. Thank you to our incredible team, clients, and partners for being part of this journey. Here’s to an even safer, more sustainable future together.
For Hands. For Life.
