    The Benefit of UltrafinePlus

    Second Skin Fit

Designed for high‑precision tasks, both gloves feature ultra‑fine 21gg knitted liners that deliver exceptional dexterity, precision, and touch. Our existing LXT Ultrafine range already uses 18gg liners, renowned for their delicate construction, but UltrafinePlus offers an even more advanced thinner and refined material.

    Glass & Steel Free

TG6040 avoids using glass or steel fibres, making the gloves softer, more comfortable, and less irritating to the skin. TG7040 is glass and steel free but contains tungsten, attributing to the higher cut level. With these rigid materials removed, there’s also a lower risk of contamination, which makes the gloves suitable for sensitive or high purity environments such as electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, and high-purity assembly environments.

    Ultra-Lightweight

Wearing gloves for a long time can subconsciously have an effect on the hands in terms of additional weight, but with these ultra-lightweight products, the wearer can achieve a natural, barely-there feel.

    Advanced Cut Resistance

The TG6040 boasts a cut level E, whilst the TG7040 boasts a cut level F, so both products fall into our highest cut protection category and are designed for use in high cut risk environments.

    Multi-Surface Grip

Both products feature the same palm dipped nitrile micro-foam coating, which performs strongly in wet, dry & oily environments, and allow for better control when handling tools, components and parts.

    Seamless, Ergonomic Fit

Because these gloves fit naturally and don’t fight against movement, they support muscle efficiency and reduce strain, thereby resulting in lower hand fatigue.

    Reinforced Thumb Crotch

The reinforced thumb crotch between the thumb and the first finger on both the TG6040 and the TG7040 serves the purpose of increasing the glove lifespan and increasing the cost-in-use.

    Touchscreen Compatible

70% of hand accidents happen after gloves have been removed, and often, workers remove their gloves to use touchscreen devices. With UltrafinePlus, there is no need to do so, as both styles are fully compatible with touchscreen devices.

    How UltrafinePlus Will Help You

Workers often describe thick or rigid gloves as restrictive, meaning they feel like they have to remove them. Ultrafine ranges were designed to prevent this through lightweight comfort, and UltrafinePlus continues this philosophy, but with additional features that suit very specialist industries.

If steel and glass cause issues in your processes, UltrafinePlus removes the risk altogether, but without sacrificing agility or protection.

What is the difference between TG6040 & TG7040?

On that, neither glove is better than the other – they are built for different purposes. If you need help to find which one is best suited for your task, you can get in touch with us here. UltrafinePlus doesn’t just upgrade cut resistant technology - it redefines it. By eliminating glass and steel, improving comfort, and extending glove life, it solves the biggest problems faced in high precision industries.
