CLEAN AND GREEN

Since Traffi launched in 2008, we’ve painstakingly built a reputation for delivering high-quality safety gloves that not only protect workers but also adhere to rigorous environmental standards.

By achieving REACH compliance and certifications from the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), we’re proud to have these values confirmed to consumers by various independent bodies. It’s easy to make claims in marketing materials, but trust is gained by demonstrating their validity and opening them up to scrutiny.

REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals) is a comprehensive EU regulation that aims to protect human health and the environment by regulating chemicals used in products. Being REACH compliant means that a product is free from harmful substances, meeting strict chemical safety guidelines.

Our gloves are manufactured without the use of hazardous chemicals that could be harmful to the wearer, ensuring a safer working environment for end users – the people who are, when all is said and done, our most important stakeholders.

REACH compliance also means that the materials used do not pose a risk to the environment, from production through to disposal.

By choosing REACH-compliant gloves, companies safeguard their employees while reducing the potential for chemical-related environmental damage.

The Global Recycled Standard is an internationally recognised certification that verifies the recycled content of a product and ensures environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing practices throughout the supply chain – achieving this accreditation confirms that the whole of Traffi’s supply chain has been independently audited and approved.

Traffi’s GRS certification confirms that our gloves contain genuine recycled materials and that production adheres to the highest ethical and environmental standards.

Verified Recycled Content: The GRS certification ensures the gloves incorporate a substantial amount of recycled material – a minimum of 20%, though some Traffi ranges contain significantly more.

Sustainable Manufacturing: The certification also covers environmental and social responsibility in production, from the sourcing of materials to the final product. This includes reducing energy consumption and ensuring ethical labor practices throughout the supply chain.

Lowering Environmental Impact: The use of recycled materials in our gloves helps reduce overall resource consumption – we have long positioned ourselves as the hand protection supplier of choice for those concerned about both safety and sustainability, with this being one of many ways in which it is quite literally built into our product.

This certification demonstrates Traffi’s commitment to sustainability, ensuring our gloves are produced with a minimal ecological footprint while maintaining high performance standards.

The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) focuses specifically on verifying the use of recycled materials in products. It ensures that recycled content claims are accurate and traceable across the supply chain.

The RCS ensures that all recycled materials used in Traffi’s gloves are accurately tracked from the source to the finished product, providing customers with verified information about the recycled content.

This certification involves audits that guarantee the recycled materials are properly handled and documented, ensuring responsible production practices.

Traffi’s REACH compliance and GRS/RCS certifications go beyond just meeting regulatory requirements—they reflect a broader commitment to both worker safety and environmental sustainability.

By choosing Traffi, you are investing in gloves that not only meet the highest safety standards but also contribute to a more sustainable future.
